The RIPCA switch control unit 4 has been designed to allow quick & simple installation of 4 automotive electrical switches with in all modern vehicles that typically present a number of challenges in relation to the positioning & installation of aftermarket switches,the switch control panel utilizes flexible membrane switch technology to overcome these challenges and provide a reliable robust integrated solution to vehicle converters & afterrnarket installations,

Power Supply Voltage at 12 Volts DC only. +8 Volts to +15 Volts DC.
Power Consumption: 120 mA max with all relays switches ON, 2 mA in standby mode.

POWER SAVING MODE:
2 mA consumption max with all relays switches OFF, in order to prevent vehicle battery drain should one or more of the relay switched loads remain inadvertently active for a prolonged period, the unit will automatically enter power saving mode when the power supply voltage to the unit is less than 11.8 Volts DC disconnecting the relay switches to OFF, then power consumption is 2 mA only.
Power saving mode will return to default once the uni! power supply voltage is greater than 12 Volts DC with all relay switches remaining switched OFF.
PROGRAMMABLE SWITCHING OPTIONS:
XS4x4 can provide bespoke unit programming to the user switch requirements as:
* ON/ OFF Latched
* Press & Hold
ANy prgramable option need to sepcified at the time of order.
The switch relays have 2x wires for each 1 AMP relay of the same colour, these wires are connected to the normally OPEN - IN/ OUT contacts of the units independent embedded relays, they are normally open 1 AMP max rated relay IN/ OUT contacts & it is not dependent on 12 Volts DC input or 12 Volts DC output load & can be connected either way & should be switching a positive 12 Volts DC supply to the load device.
The maximum switching amperage for each of the units embedded micro relays is 1 AMP MAX for each relay
